主讲人简介尼基塔・苏德是牛津大学教授,她长期致力于发展中国家的国家重塑、新自由主义转型、土地治理与气候政治研究。她关注南亚特别是印度的发展经验,研究领域涵盖土地制度演变、民族主义政治、绿色能源转型及气候治理。她的代表作包括《Liberalization, Hindu Nationalism and the State: A Biography of Gujarat》,《The Making of Land and The Making of India》,系统梳理了土地如何成为国家治理、资本积累与权力重组的核心机制。近年来,她聚焦全球南方的生态转型话语,主持绿色能源与“非固定性土地”研究项目,探讨全球气候政治中的不平等结构。除学术工作外,苏德教授积极参与公共讨论,常在主流媒体发声,推动学术与社会对话。

Introduction to the Speaker: Nikita Sud is a professor in the Department of International Development at Oxford University. She is a member of Wolfson College and has long been dedicated to research on the reshaping of developing countries, neoliberal transformation, land governance, and climate politics. She focuses on the development experience of South Asia, especially India, with research areas covering land system evolution, nationalist politics, green energy transition, and climate governance. Her representative works include Liberalization, Hindu Nationalism and the State: A Biography of Gujarat, The Making of Land and The Making of India. The system has sorted out how land has become the core mechanism for national governance, capital accumulation, and power restructuring. 

In recent years, she has focused on the discourse of ecological transformation in the global South, led research projects on green energy and "non fixed land", and explored unequal structures in global climate politics. In addition to academic work, Sud actively participates in public discussions and often speaks out in mainstream media to promote dialogue between academia and society.
