有关“发展”、“发展合作”与“全球发展治理”的叙事和政策正面临深刻转型，“发达国家和发展中国家”、“南方国家和北方国家”等二元分类难以有效地刻画现实图景的变迁，发展与安全、发展自主性等新叙事也探索捕捉着现实断裂中的新生之地，尤其在后疫情时代，全球发展学界正构建着新的知识体系以应对系列新挑战，而中国及其他新兴国家在这一领域的参与和贡献必将深刻地影响着新发展知识体系的未来。该系列讲座将呈现这一趋势的前沿争辩和探索。

主讲人：帕特里克·奈斯
Patrick Nijs（帕特里克·奈斯）曾任比利时驻大阪、上海和香港使团团长，知华友华。在国际事务、发展项目管理、发展合作、以及发展传播等领域有着深刻的研究，并注重将研究应用于国际发展合作实践，尤其在公私合作伙伴关系方面有着独到的见解和成果。
奈斯早年在生态园艺领域具有工作经验，并认为生态农业在回应全球发展的挑战问题方面具有独特的作用。他于2012年在云南创建的有机农场卡比萨(Kabissa)，正是在践行他早年的研究和尝试。
Ambassador (hon) Nijs has been in the position of Belgian Head Of Mission in Osaka, Shanghai and Hong Kong, with understanding of China and being friendly with China. His research expertise are international affairs, development project management, development cooperation, and development dissemination. He also put research results to international development cooperation practices, particularly in the area of Private Public Partnership throughout all his career.
Ambassador Nijs has experienced Eco-gardening in earlier years and he found that ecological agriculture played an important role corresponding to the changing challenges in global development. He founded an organic farm in Yunnan in 2012, Kabissa, which brought his research and experiments into practice .
