徐秀丽 Xu Xiuli

Xu Xiuli, Professor of Development   Studies, Dean of the College of International Development and Global   Agriculture at China Agricultural University, Beijing, P.R. China

She is a key member of China International Development Research Network (CIDRN) and Network of Southern Think Tanks (NeST). Her main research interests include global   development architecture and its daily operation, China’s overseas investment   and foreign aid, the evolution of development thinking, and   developmental state building in African countries. She is the first author of a series of articles on China’s aid and overseas investment   published on top journals such as World Development,   Development and Change and IDS Bulletin. She has been a visiting scholar to the Centre of Development Studies at the University of Cambridge, and to IDS at   the University of Sussex during 2010-2013. She has broad international collaboration with   development partners such as the UNOSSC, WB, UNDP, IDRC and DFID. She is the initiator of the public knowledge   platform: IDT (International Development Times) disseminating frontier debates about development studies in China and   beyond.


徐秀丽,中国农业大学人文与发展学院教授,博士生导师,现任中国农业大学国际发展与全球农业学院院长,曾驻访剑桥大学发展研究中心、英国国际发展研究院(IDS)、浙江大学人文高等研究院等,在亚非拉、欧美等地有较为丰富的访学和调研经历,在World Development等国际顶尖期刊上发表数篇论文,主题涉及国际发展援助政策,及其微观实践、中国“走出去”过程中的文化遭遇、发展研究与发展思想变迁等。目前,她所主持的国家社科基金项目主要关注国际发展体系中的多元主体架构、实践社群和发展知识。她热衷于传播发展研究和国际发展知识,是国际发展知识平台“国际发展时报(IDT)”的联合发起人,教授“普通发展学”、“发展理论与实践”、“全球事务与发展等课程。
